First snow of winter. One of the attractions of the Japanese garden is that it is supposed to be lovely to look at in every season. |

But, sometimes, in the height of winter, you can hardly tell there is a Japanese garden at all. The amazing thing is that the fish are always there (alive) waiting to greet us in the spring. |
